North Korean technicians were spotted in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. They were dressed in Russian military uniforms, according to CNN.
According to the source, the purpose of the North Korean technical specialists' arrival in Mariupol is unclear.
The CNN source clarified that the North Koreans in Mariupol remain separated from the Russian units they support. Also, according to him, the DPRK specialists live separately from the Russians - with their own rooms, food, music and movies.
The source also told reporters that a high-ranking North Korean general was one of the targets of recent Ukrainian missile strikes on Russian territory. But it is not yet clear whether he has been eliminated.
Participation of North Korean soldiers in the war
In October, it became known that North Korea had sent its soldiers to Russia. Later, they were deployed to the Kursk region, where the fighting is ongoing.
