As a result of a missile strike by Russian forces on Dnipro, at least 16 people were killed. Over a hundred others were injured, according to a statement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Dutch Parliament and a Telegram statement of Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

"Today in Ukraine, in the city of Dnipro, people are receiving help after a Russian missile ballistic strike. Sixteen people have been killed. More than one hundred have been injured," the President said.

According to him, a large number of buildings were damaged, including schools. The Russian forces even hit a passenger train that was traveling on its route.

For his part, Lysak stated that the death toll in Dnipro had risen to 15.

"174 people were injured. About a hundred of them remain hospitalized. Doctors are providing all the necessary medical assistance," he added.

Fatalities in Dnipro

On June 24, Russian forces launched missile strikes on Dnipro and Samara.

According to the latest reports, nine people were confirmed dead in Dnipro and two in Samara.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that more than 160 people were injured.
