The death toll from Russia's overnight attack on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region has risen to 11, including 2 children. 37 people were injured, according to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha.

Rescuers recovered the bodies of a woman and an 8-year-old boy from the ruins of a four-story building in Dnipro damaged by the enemy.

Earlier, the body of a child born in 2023 was recovered from the rubble.

According to the regional military administration, 22 people remain hospitalized, four of them in serious condition. The injured have suffered shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations and cuts, blast injuries, and acoustic trauma.

Among the injured are four children: boys aged 6 and 16, and a 13-year-old girl were hospitalized in moderate condition, while another 14-year-old girl is receiving outpatient treatment.

What is known about the consequences in other parts of the region

In Dnipro itself, apartment buildings were partially destroyed, while an enterprise, a fire station, and garages were damaged, and vehicles were destroyed.

Six people were killed and 33 injured in the city. A 22-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman are in serious condition.

In Kamianske, an administrative building and apartment buildings were damaged. Three people were injured — a 50-year-old man and two women aged 49 and 72 were taken to hospital in moderate condition.

In the Nikopol district, the district center and the Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, and Marhanets communities came under attack. Apartment buildings and private homes were damaged.

In the Synelnykove district, Russians targeted the Vasylkivka community, where a non-operational building caught fire. In the Kryvyi Rih district, the enemy struck the Apostolove community, where a fire also broke out.

During the night of June 2, Russia carried out a massive combined strike on Ukraine using ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, as well as drones.

Among the victims of the attack in Dnipro was Deputy Chief of a fire and rescue unit, Major Anton Yarmolenko, who was responding to a call at the time of the strike.

Kyiv, Kharkiv, and several other regions were also attacked. More than 100 people have been reported injured across the country.
