The next meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place on Thursday, December 11, in the form of a video conference, Sky News reports.
Macron did not disclose details about the participants or the topic of the meeting.
The meeting will take place after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the leaders of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom in London on Monday to discuss a revised peace plan for Ukraine.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stressed that the peace talks are at a critical stage, but emphasized that the issue of Ukraine is Ukraine's business, while Macron said that Kyiv and its allies have many trump cards in their hands.
Coalition of the Willing
Coalition of the Willing is an informal association of many Western countries that emerged after Russia's full-scale invasion to coordinate enhanced military support for Ukraine without waiting for consensus from the entire West.
On November 17, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the Coalition of the Willing, which is working on security guarantees for Ukraine, plans to move to a new stage of force deployment by Christmas.
At the end of October, the media reported that a closed meeting of the Coalition of the Willing from 35 countries was held in Madrid to discuss new ways to support Ukraine.
The last meeting of the Coalition of the Willing took place on November 25. The partners held an online meeting to discuss the results of negotiations with the US on a peace plan in Geneva and to develop new joint initiatives.
