The "Coalition of the willing" supporting Ukraine will convene on 25 November for an online meeting to discuss the results of the talks in Geneva and to develop new joint initiatives.

This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron, according to European Pravda.

It is known that Macron coordinated the gathering of the coalition with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. He said that he and Starmer were preparing an online meeting in the format of a video conference for the members of the "Coalition of the willing."

Macron also recalled that the coalition currently includes more than thirty countries, both European states and other allied partners.

He explained that the meeting was planned for Tuesday afternoon to coordinate further actions, assess the progress expected from the upcoming talks in Geneva, and prepare new joint initiatives.

Background on 'Сoalition of the willing'

The term refers to an informal group of Western countries formed after Russia’s full-scale invasion to coordinate enhanced military support for Ukraine without needing unanimous agreement from the entire West.

On 17 November, Macron stated that the coalition working on security guarantees for Ukraine aimed to move to a new stage of force deployment by Christmas.

At the end of October, the media reported that a closed-door meeting of the coalition, with representatives from 35 countries, was expected to take place in Madrid to discuss new ways of supporting Ukraine.

The previous meeting of the "Сoalition of the willing" took place on 24 October 2025 in London, where participants discussed an updated plan for supporting Ukraine.
