Frontline situation

Since the beginning of 2026, the Russian army has lost more than 300,000 soldiers, killed and wounded, in Ukraine. This scale of losses is equivalent to the personnel of nearly 150 Russian motorized rifle regiments.

Meanwhile, the Third Army Corps has launched the Vivaldi offensive operation in the north of the Donetsk region and has already cleared several settlements. Ukrainian troops eliminated enemy infiltration pockets and cleared 75 square kilometers of territory. Another 10 square kilometers have been de-occupied.
