Biden to meet with Xi Jinping during his visit to Peru - Reuters
US President Joe Biden will visit Peru on November 16 to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. There, he will hold a meeting with China's leader Xi Jinping, Reuters reports.
The agency notes that this meeting with Xi Jinping is likely to be the last one for Biden as US president.
It is expected that the leaders will hold talks on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in the Peruvian capital, Lima. They will discuss "a range of global hot spots," including the heightened tensions in relations between Washington and Beijing.

"The president has demonstrated that the US and (the People's Republic of China) can manage our differences and prevent competition from veering into conflict or confrontation, and he's done that by ensuring the maintenance of open lines of communication," one official told Reuters.
