On the morning of April 30, drones were spotted in the Kyiv region, which were launched by Russians for another airstrike. The region's air defense forces are currently active, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

At 06:42 AM Kyiv time, the administration reported the repulsion of a drone attack on its channel.

"Kyiv region! UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Air defense forces are working on the targets," the announcement states.

Residents are advised to stay in shelters until the air alert is lifted due to the drone attack.

Additionally, citizens have been urged to adhere to information silence rules - do not record or publish information about the work of air defense forces online.

Early in the morning, the Air Force reported a new wave of Russian drone attacks. Kamikaze drones were detected in several regions of eastern Ukraine, as well as parts of northern and central regions.

As of now, according to military reports, a group of Shaheds has been detected near the border of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions, moving southwest.

Furthermore, a new group of strike UAVs has been spotted moving towards Kharkiv since midnight.

Russians launched a significant number of kamikaze drones towards Kharkiv during the night and early morning. This follows a drone strike carried out the previous evening.

Drone strikes on Kharkiv and Dnipro

On the evening of April 29, a series of explosions occurred in Kharkiv during a drone attack. Multi-story buildings, private houses, cars, businesses, and two hospitals were damaged. In total, civilian objects in four districts of the city were affected.

According to Spartak Borysenko, head of the counter-crime department for crimes committed in the context of the armed conflict, Russia used Shahed-2 UAVs for the attack.

Kharkiv region Governor Oleh Synehubov reported that among the victims in the city, there was a 5-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, and a 24-year-old pregnant woman. The total number of casualties from the drone attack rose to 38, with 4 people hospitalized.

The State Emergency Service also showed videos and photos of the aftermath of the drone attack on Kharkiv, which resulted in intense fires in several areas of the city and significant destruction.

Additionally, it was reported that on the evening of April 29, Dnipro was hit by a massive drone attack. As a result of the bombardment, one person was killed, one person was injured, and buildings were damaged.
