Apple is preparing major updates for devices that have been without hardware improvements for a long time. Some of them have not received updates for several years, but in 2025 the company is ready to introduce long-awaited new products, reports 9to5Mac.
iPhone SE 4

Apple is preparing a major update for the next iPhone SE model, offering impressive improvements that could make it the best choice for most buyers.
Among the innovations of the budget iPhone:
- A18 chip, recently introduced in the iPhone 16
- Support for Apple Intelligence
- OLED display
- Face ID and notch in the screen
- 8 GB of RAM
- Main camera at 48 MP
- USB-C charging port
- Apple's first 5G modem of its own design
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be one of Apple's first products in 2025 and will be unveiled in March.
AirTag 2

AirPods Pro 3

Traditionally, Apple announces new Apple Watch SE models in September along with the flagship smartwatch. However, this time, an early launch is possible, for example, in the spring, simultaneously with the iPhone SE.
Apple TV 4K

Apple TV is perhaps one of the company's most erratically updated products. If you look at the release history, the gaps between generations were extremely unpredictable: 3.5 years, 1.5 years, 1 year, 2.5 years, 2 years, 4 years, 1 year. It has now been more than two years since the last model was released, and it looks like it will be about three years before the next update.
According to Mark Gurman, the new Apple TV 4K will be released at the end of 2025, probably in October or November. It is known that the device will receive a new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, as well as a much more powerful processor. This may prepare the platform for future Apple Intelligence features in tvOS.
