15 dead, over 120 injured in Russian attack on Kyiv, says Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs

In Kyiv, after a massive attack by Russian forces, the number of dead victims has risen. The death toll has so far reached 15, Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, reports.
"Today, the enemy carried out one of the most massive attacks since the start of the full-scale war. Currently, there are 139 injured in the capital, including 15 dead," Klymenko said.
The Minister noted that the numbers may change as emergency rescue and search operations continue.
Klymenko clarified that a cruise missile hit a nine-story building, entering at the level of the fourth floor. The explosion was so powerful that the entire stairwell structure collapsed.
'"About 50 buildings in Kyiv were damaged. Approximately 50,000 people live in this neighborhood - a densely populated area. This is exactly where Russia targeted its strike. There are 27 locations in Kyiv alone where rescuers, police, and municipal services have been and are still working today," the Minister said.
About 2,000 rescuers and law enforcement officers are involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack. More than 200 units of engineering equipment are operating on site, with about 100 at just one location. Search dogs are also helping to find people under the rubble.
