In Kyiv, from 4 to 14 people may be trapped under the rubble of a destroyed building in the Solomianskyi district, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, and the Ukrainian Interior Ministry.

There are 27 locations in the city with damage of varying degrees.

As of 10 a.m. Kyiv time, 114 people were injured in the Russian strike, 68 of them hospitalized. Among the injured are 2 children in moderate condition.

According to him, there are 4 identified killed, and over 10 people remain unidentified.

In addition, there are missing persons, probably due to a Russian rocket hitting a house in the Solomianskyi district, where people may still be under the rubble.

Solomianskyi district

Solomianskyi district suffered the most: a dormitory, a 9-story building, a 5-story building, a boarding school, a service station, and several non-residential buildings were hit.

Tkachenko informed that the body of one victim had just been unblocked from the rubble of the destroyed building.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also reported that they had unblocked the body of a man. Search and rescue operations continue at the site.

Sviatoshynskyi district

An elevator shaft in a 12-story building was destroyed, and there was damage and a fire in a non-residential area.

Darnytskyi district

A lyceum and a kindergarten were damaged.

Russian rocket hit one of the 20-story buildings on the 10th to 17th floors. In addition, windows in residential buildings were smashed in several locations.

The railroad infrastructure was also damaged - one of the missiles hit near a Ukrainian Railways passenger train.

Dniprovskyi district

A fragment of a downed Russian air target stuck in the wall of a residential building, causing damage. Debris was recorded falling on different streets of the district. The contact network of Ukrainian Railways was also damaged, which hampered the operation of transportation.

Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts

In these districts, Russian debris fell and damaged the windows of buildings and cars in several locations.

Two State Emergency Service of Ukraine helicopters are actively working at the site of the strikes, having already made more than 50 water discharges totaling over 100 tons.

Rescue operations are ongoing.

Russian strikes on Kyiv

On the night of June 17, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv using Shahed kamikaze drones.

Russian debris was recorded falling in several districts of Kyiv, causing damage to residential buildings, non-residential structures, and cars.

Residential buildings, non-residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged. The upper floors of a multi-storey building were hit.

As a result of the Russian attack, some areas lost power supply - Mayor Vitali Klitschko said it was due to the activation of the automatic protection system. The death of a US citizen has also been confirmed.
