Roman Kot

RBC-Ukraine Correspondent

Has been working in journalism since 2016. Specializes in international politics, with a particular focus on US domestic and foreign policy, conflicts in the Middle East, political developments in Europe, and Ukraine's European integration.

Graduated from the National University of Ostroh Academy in 2016 with a Master's degree in International Relations. In 2015–2016, completed an internship at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Began his journalism career at the news agency Crimean News and later worked as an editor for socio-political programs at Ukrainian Radio. He has collaborated with the think tank Borysfen Intel and the online news outlet Apostroph.

Joined the RBC-Ukraine team in June 2024, where he continues to cover key international events, US politics, NATO, the EU, and their impact on Ukraine.

He is a board member of the NGO Interns' League, which administers internship programs in government institutions.

In his free time, Roman enjoys cooking, hiking, and wrestling.
