Zircons, Kalibrs and Kinzhals: What Russia used to attack Ukraine and how air defense responded

Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine's critical infrastructure on the night of November 14, using attack drones and various types of missiles, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
"Overall, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected and tracked 449 aerial attack assets — 19 missiles and 430 drones of various types," the Air Force reported.
It is noted that during the night, the enemy used:

430 attack UAVs of the Shahed type, Herbera, and other drones launched from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea;

3 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles launched from Russia's Ryazan region;

1 Zircon anti-ship missile;
-
6 Iskander-K/Kalibr cruise missiles;
-
9 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.
The main target of the strike was the city of Kyiv. Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Odesa region, Poltava region, and Cherkasy region were also affected by the attack.
The aerial assault was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:30, Ukraine's air defense shot down or suppressed 419 aerial targets:

405 enemy drones of the Shahed type, Herbera, and other UAVs;

2 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;

6 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;

6 Iskander-K/Kalibr cruise missiles.
At the same time, missile impacts and strikes from 23 attack drones were recorded at 13 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at 44 locations.
"The attack is ongoing, with new groups of enemy UAVs entering the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Air Force added.
Russia launched a massive strike on several regions of Ukraine during the night of November 14, with the main axis of the combined attack directed at the capital.
As of the morning, 26 people were injured and four killed in Kyiv as a result of the large-scale nighttime attack.
