Russian forces terrorized various regions of Ukraine throughout the day, focusing on Kyiv as a main target, said Yurii Ihnat, head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force Command.

According to him, Russians used around 100 drones throughout the day.

Russia also launched two Zircon missiles. Communications chief Ihnat confirmed that a Patriot air defense system intercepted one.

He also noted that the capital was once again the epicenter of Russian strikes on October 10.

"In addition to these missiles, from as early as 6:37 a.m., we have had up to 100 drones attacking from different directions—from the south, north, and east... Most of the enemy's aerial attack weapons are targeting the capital," Ihnat said.

Amid this, he noted that other regions of Ukraine are also suffering heavily as Russian forces actively attack them not only with drones but also with guided aerial bombs.

"We see serious destruction caused by guided aerial bombs in Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions," Ihnat stressed.

As previously reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned about new Russian attacks.

As also reported, the death toll rose following a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, where five guided aerial bombs were used.

In addition, details emerged about the aftermath of a new Russian daytime attack on Kyiv, in which Russians struck a restaurant.
