President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the frontline, visiting the Orikhiv sector in Zaporizhzhia region, Zelenskyy reported.
The president visited the command post of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Velykyi Luh, which is part of the 17th Corps and is currently holding the defense in the Orikhiv sector.
"The command post of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Velykyi Luh. I am honored to be here today to thank the soldiers for their service and to present awards. The brigade, as part of the 17th Corps, is now defending the Orikhiv sector. Thank you for protecting Ukraine and holding the line here," the statement said.
During the visit, the head of state received a briefing on the operational situation in the area, enemy activity, and Russian losses.
Together with the command, they discussed measures to strengthen the defense of the Orikhiv sector — primarily personnel reinforcement, the supply of certain types of weapons and equipment, including light armored vehicles, as well as equipping units with electronic warfare systems.
Special attention was given to the development of drone units and scaling the brigade's positive experience in using ground robotic systems for medical evacuation.
They also discussed the steps needed to expand this practical approach to other units.
"We are doing everything to strengthen our soldiers," he emphasized.
On November 4, it was reported that Zelenskyy visited positions in the Dobropillia sector, where he met with fighters from the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, known as the Azov.
On Tuesday, November 11, the President of Ukraine arrived in Kherson and addressed the Ukrainians on the third anniversary of the city's liberation.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi earlier reported that during their offensive, Russian forces managed to capture three settlements, and heavy fighting continues for two more villages.
