President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received reports from the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine. Ukraine's current priority is absolute peace, he states during his evening address.

According to Zelenskyy, during the reports from the Defense Intelligence and the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), the available opportunities for Ukraine, as well as the threats, were discussed in detail.

"We see the steps being planned in Moscow, and we will respond accordingly — as firmly as necessary for Ukraine. And I want to say to everyone in the world who still seeks to help Putin in any way, we will do everything not just to defend our country and people, but to truly unite the world for strong responses to the escalation of war or any attempt to prolong it," the president stated.

He emphasized that Ukraine’s absolute priority is a just peace.

"For every missile, every drone, and every hostile action, for every attempt to prolong and intensify this war, there will inevitably be a response from the world. We will ensure the necessary unity of the world — no matter how difficult it may be for us," he stressed.

Zelenskyy's peace formula

In early June, a Peace Summit based on Zelenskyy's peace formula took place in Switzerland, with the participation of 100 countries and organizations. By the end of the year, Ukraine plans to hold a second summit in Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, at the end of August, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in September, he plans to present a victory plan for Ukraine in the war against Russia to US President Joe Biden.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine will "hold" the captured territory in the Kursk region, as it is an integral part of his victory plan for ending the war. He will present this proposal to international partners, including the United States.
