Zelenskyy to address Dutch parliament ahead of NATO summit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to deliver an address tomorrow, June 24, in the lower house of the Dutch parliament — the House of Representatives, according to NOS.
According to the report, the invitation for Zelenskyy to speak in the Dutch parliament was initiated by the opposition party GroenLinks-PvdA and was supported by a majority of lawmakers.
His address is expected to take place during a joint session of both chambers of the Dutch parliament, scheduled for around 4:00 p.m. local time (5:00 p.m. Kyiv time).
Zelenskyy has already addressed the Dutch parliament twice — once via video link in March 2022, and again in person during a visit in May 2023.
NATO summit
The NATO summit will take place in The Hague (Netherlands) on June 24–25. As part of the summit, a meeting of the NATO–Ukraine Council is also scheduled.
It was previously reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received an invitation to attend the summit in The Hague. However, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys stated that Ukraine would not receive a formal invitation to join NATO at this summit. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the event will remain strongly focused on the issue of Ukraine.
