President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared with reporters what he discussed with US leader Donald Trump at a joint meeting with G7 leaders.
After the meetings at the summit, Zelenskyy said that all G7 participants confirmed their support for Ukraine and condemned the latest Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure.
What G7 leaders said about the war
According to the president, G7 leaders do not see Russia as willing to end the war.
Everyone believes that the war must be stopped, Zelenskyy says. Everyone believes that they do not see a willingness from Russia. First of all, Putin does not want to end it, but he must be forced, he added.
Partners support strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia, in particular, measures against the shadow fleet, Zelenskyy notes.
It is always important to coordinate positions.
