This week, representatives of US President Donald Trump's team will visit Ukraine. Their trip to Kyiv will take place ahead of the Munich Conference, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with European Investment Bank President Nadia Calviño.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of focusing on the practical work between the teams of Ukraine and the US and establishing a shared vision on key issues.

"There may be different opinions, but there must be a common vision on the main issues - how to stop Putin and how to provide security guarantees for Ukraine. This week, some serious figures from President Trump's team will be in Ukraine, even before the Munich Conference. Then there will be the Munich conference, and I will have several meetings there, including with the US Vice President," Zelenskyy stated.

Trump's peace initiatives

Following his inauguration, Donald Trump urged Vladimir Putin to reach a deal to end the war against Ukraine, warning of tougher sanctions.

According to Western media reports, Trump allegedly tasked his special envoy, Keith Kellogg, with ending the war within 100 days, though no official peace initiatives have been announced.

Recently, it was revealed that Kellogg will attend the Munich Security Conference from February 14-16, where he is expected to discuss the war in Ukraine. However, he has stated that he will not present a peace plan.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that there is no official Trump plan to end the war in Ukraine.

However, today the media reported that Kellogg is already preparing to present a plan to Trump for ending the war.
