Zelenskyy says all signals point to resumption of US aid

After constructive talks with US President Donald Trump, Ukraine has received all the necessary political signals for the resumption of aid deliveries, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting with Ukrainian and international media representatives.
"It is important that after very constructive and positive talks with President Trump, we have all the necessary political signals regarding the resumption of aid deliveries," the leader emphasized.
According to him, teams on both sides are now working to ensure that the supplies arrive on time.
"Now, at the level of our teams, we are working to ensure that everything reaches Ukraine on time. We agreed on all of this," he added.
Resumption of US weapons deliveries to Ukraine
Since July 2, Ukraine had not been receiving military aid from the United States.
Initially, the White House confirmed the suspension of deliveries, but after public backlash, it was forced to clarify that the decision was temporary and made to review weapons stockpiles at US military depots.
Deliveries began to resume after US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call on July 4.
Following the call, Trump even stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin was responsible for numerous killings and did not rule out the possibility of sending Ukraine another Patriot air defense system.
At a press conference with American journalists, Trump said he had not thought about who was responsible for the suspension of aid to Ukraine.
According to media reports, the decision was made by US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who allegedly did not inform either Trump or Congress.
