Trump approves US weapons for Ukraine amid Putin's deadly actions

The United States will provide Ukraine with defensive weapons — a decision made because Russian President Vladimir Putin is "killing too many people," US President Donald Trump said during a media briefing.
"Putin is not treating human beings right. He's killing too many people. So we're sending some defensive weapons and I've approved that," Trump emphasized.
According to him, he has already approved the delivery of defensive weapons to Ukraine.
Trump confirms new military aid to Ukraine after pause
US President Donald Trump reiterated on July 8 that the United States will deliver defensive weapons to Ukraine.
Shortly after the announcement, CNN reported that White House aides are set to discuss the specifics of the upcoming shipment, which may include Patriot air defense missiles.
This move effectively ends the temporary halt in American military aid to Ukraine imposed last week.
US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker previously explained the pause was necessary to ensure Ukraine had all the essential defense resources it needs.
