The agenda includes bilateral talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, a meeting in the E3 format with the President of France and the German Chancellor, and an audience with King Charles III scheduled for tomorrow.
Negotiation topics
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has begun a working visit to the United Kingdom, where bilateral negotiations are scheduled.
According to the president, teams have already done substantial preparatory work for all meetings, and the key issues will now be discussed and finalized at the leaders' level.
"The main priority is our defense in the war, deeper cooperation for the security of all Europe in the area of air defense, and our shared view on diplomatic prospects. Europe must be part of the negotiations and must be strong," he said.
Audience with King Charles III
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also confirmed that a meeting with King Charles III is scheduled for tomorrow.
Thanks to allies
The head of state separately thanked the United Kingdom and other partners who are "taking real steps to strengthen the protection of lives and increase pressure on Russia for its aggression."
"Russia must end its war," Zelenskyy emphasized.
Earlier, in December 2025, Zelenskyy, Starmer, Macron, and Merz met in London, where the leaders of three European countries agreed to increase economic pressure on Putin and stressed the need for a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
This week, officials in Germany said there is a window for dialogue between Europe and Russia regarding the situation in Ukraine. Berlin emphasized that the E3 group — Germany, France, and the United Kingdom — would continue to play an important role in this process.
