Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bødskov, according to the Office of the President.

"We count on you and on continuing such warm and productive relations. We are grateful for the Danish model, it sent a message to other countries, and it helped increase the production of our drones and missiles. So, thank you very much for these steps you are taking together with us," Zelenskyy said.

He also thanked Denmark for its presidency of the EU Council this semester and for supporting Ukraine on its path to EU membership. According to him, Ukraine expects progress and knows that Denmark is doing everything possible on its side.

"It is a great honor for us to be here. We arrived with the largest Danish business delegation ever to visit Ukraine. And this is not just a business delegation. If we count everyone currently in Ukraine, our delegation includes about 150 people representing business and government bodies. They all came to explore opportunities for new forms of cooperation," the minister said.

Zelenskyy highlighted Denmark’s decision on joint weapons production. They also discussed continuing defense cooperation, including financing and insurance mechanisms. The talks covered Ukrainian arms exports and Ukraine's readiness to open export platforms, including in Europe.

Previously, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen stated that to start production of Ukrainian weapons on Danish territory, Ukraine would need to change its legislation. According to him, Ukrainian defense companies currently cannot transfer their production to another country.
