In recent days, Ukraine has been using not only its drones but also other weapons exclusively of its own production to strike Russia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof.

“Based on those hits, I think people can understand from the fragments on social media where drones are being used and where they are not,” the president said.

He stressed that details on the use of Ukraine's long-range capabilities will be released later. According to the president, Russians should not be prepared for what the Ukrainian military is using.

Zelenskyy thanked not only the soldiers but also the manufacturers of Ukrainian weapons. He added that “great opportunities” are expected, which depend on funding.

The president of Ukraine also stated that “it is realistic” to produce missiles and drones in 2026 for 35 billion.

"We believe that we have really increased our capabilities. This volume depends on this amount, whether the appropriate funds will be available. Where could this money come from? Thank God, we have bilateral agreements, we have 30 bilateral agreements," he said.

Zelenskyy said that most of these agreements involve “smart financing” and added that the Netherlands is one of the largest donor countries for aid and weapons.

The Ukrainian leader added that there are several European countries that are “very strongly” helping Ukraine.

“This is part of the budget that we will use for our long-range capabilities. Not only long-range capabilities, but also the corresponding drones that our military uses on the front lines,” the president emphasized.

Ukrainian weapons

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has successfully used Neptune missiles and plans to regularly use its own ballistic missiles in the future.

A Ukrainian delegation recently visited the United States. The parties discussed the planned purchase of Ukrainian drones and security cooperation.

Last month, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal promised to provide 1,000 interceptor drones per day in the near future to protect the country from risks posed by Russia.
