Russia strikes Ukraine's Dnipro: 12 injured, fires and destruction reported, footage

On September 11, Dnipro came under another massive Russian attack during the day. So far, casualties and damage to residential buildings have been reported, according to statements by Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov and Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha.

According to Hanzha, there are already 7 people injured in Dnipro as a result of the Russian attack.
"All of them are under medical supervision," he added.
A private enterprise and garages were also damaged.
"Windows in nearby residential buildings were blown out by the blast wave," Hanzha clarified.
According to Filatov, at least 9 residential buildings were damaged in Dnipro as a result of the Russian attack.

"About 700 windows were blown out. Garages with residents' cars caught fire in the courtyards," he said.
The mayor added that municipal workers would begin work as soon as rescuers and police give the go-ahead.

At 04:11 pm, the regional governor reported that the number of people injured in Dnipro had increased.

"There are already 12 people injured in the Russian attack on Dnipro," he said.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that a VARUS chain warehouse in Dnipro was damaged in another Russian attack. The warehouse had already been damaged in a Russian attack in the spring.
It was also reported that on September 10, Russia struck Dnipro for the third time that day. The Russian attack caused food warehouses to catch fire.
