Zelenskyy hints at new weapons from Trump: 'We will, maybe, have something more'

After a meeting with the US at the leaders’ level, Ukraine could receive new assistance related to long-range strikes. The exact details are not yet known, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference in Denmark.
The President noted that Ukraine has never been the first to attack Russian civilian infrastructure, only responding to its strikes. About a year ago, Ukrainian defenders lacked the means to respond, and Russian attacks then led to blackouts.
Zelenskyy added that Ukraine could potentially deploy as many drones per day as Russia - around 500–600 units - but everything depends on funding.
He noted that if Ukraine manages to reach such levels of using drones, it will raise questions for the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Until this moment, we used only our weapons. After my meeting with the President of the United States, we will, maybe, have something more," the President said.
Rumors about Tomahawk missiles
Earlier, media reports suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a meeting with US President Donald Trump in New York, called for the provision of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukrainian defenders.
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has submitted all its weapon requests to the US, but did not confirm the rumors about Tomahawk missiles.
US Vice President JD Vance stated that Washington is discussing the delivery of such missiles to Ukraine, but the final decision rests solely with President Donald Trump.
