Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with his Finnish counterpart, Alexander Stubb. They discussed the negotiations that took place in Florida between the American and Ukrainian delegations regarding the US peace plan.

"I spoke with the President of Finland earlier today – Alexander Stubb and I continue our coordination. I briefed him on our delegation’s work yesterday in the United States – everything was very constructive," he says.

As Zelenskyy emphasizes, there are difficult issues that still need to be worked on.

He adds that after the Ukrainian delegation returns from the United States and talks with the negotiators, they will plan the next steps.

"Our representatives will return to Europe in the coming days, and after speaking with them and receiving a full report on how the negotiations went, we will decide on our further activities," the statement says.

Zelenskyy also announces negotiations with European partners.

"And for today, we have talks planned with our friends in Europe. It will be a very substantive day. Diplomacy, defense, energy – the priorities are clear. I thank everyone who is helping!" he concludes.

Florida talks

On the evening of November 30, Kyiv time, negotiations between US President Donald Trump's team and the Ukrainian delegation on a peace plan took place in Florida (USA).

American media began to reveal details of the nearly five-hour meeting and the topics discussed.

After the report, Zelenskyy noted that the negotiations were proceeding constructively, and Trump again spoke of a chance for an agreement.

However, according to sources, the negotiations in Florida have not yet resulted in a final agreement on the draft peace agreement. In particular, the issues of territory were actively discussed, and the topic of Ukraine's membership in NATO was also raised.
