Zelenskyy awaits Trump schedule confirmation for upcoming US visit, source says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may visit the United States, although one key detail still needs to be finalized, an informed source said.
According to the source, the Ukrainian president would like to travel to the United States in the near future.
The source added that Kyiv is still waiting for confirmation regarding US President Donald Trump's schedule.
Their last meeting
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump last met on the sidelines of the NATO summit held in Ankara on July 7–8.
During the meeting, the US president made several positive remarks about Ukraine, saying the country has a great future. Trump also emphasized that he and Zelenskyy have a good relationship.
The US leader also said that Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russia represent an escalation that could bring the war to an end.
The key outcome of the meeting was Trump's decision to grant Ukraine licenses to manufacture Patriot systems.
Earlier today, July 22, Zelenskyy also held talks with US presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The main topic of discussion was the possibility of resuming negotiations aimed at ending Russia's war against Ukraine.
