Zelenskyy arrives in US on a visit - Source

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United States on a visit, according to sources.
A source of RBC-Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian leader arrived in the US for a scheduled visit on the evening of Thursday, October 16.
Recently, the presidents of Ukraine and the US have been discussing important and sensitive issues — arms, air defense, and diplomacy. Since it is difficult to discuss the details of these matters over the phone, a personal meeting was arranged.
On October 16, the Ukrainian delegation met in Washington with the US President’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg. The main topic was upcoming leader-level talks, during which the parties agreed on key priorities and focus areas.
Zelenskyy and Trump meeting
Tomorrow, October 17, a meeting will take place at the White House between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump.
The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Washington earlier this week to lay the groundwork for the leader-level meeting.
According to Politico, the meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump will likely discuss the possibility of Ukrainian forces moving on the offensive. An unnamed senior Ukrainian official told the outlet that the further actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine depend on the weapons they receive.
Additionally, the two leaders are expected to discuss the potential delivery of long-range Tomahawk missiles and additional Patriot systems to Ukraine.
Trump has already confirmed that Zelenskyy wants to receive Tomahawk missiles from the US. According to American media, the US president is still considering such a delivery.
