Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with US President Donald Trump at 8:00 PM Kyiv time on December 28. The agenda includes joint statements from the presidents and a phone call with European leaders.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov, Zelenskyy and Trump will issue a joint statement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the talks. At 9:00 PM Kyiv time, Zelenskyy and Trump will hold a joint phone call with European leaders.

Which European leaders will join the call remains unclear, as discussions are still ongoing.

Updated. While in Florida, President Zelenskyy held a detailed phone call with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

"We discussed preparations for the meeting with President Trump, as well as all our contacts with European partners. I informed him of the situation on the frontline and the consequences of Russian strikes. We greatly value the United Kingdom's support. We will stay in contact!" he wrote.

Earlier reports indicated that on December 28, Zelenskyy will meet with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida at 8:00 PM Kyiv time. The meeting was previously scheduled for 10:00 PM Kyiv time. Zelenskyy has already arrived in the US for the meeting.

Zelenskyy said he will raise territorial issues during the meeting. These remain among the most important and complex matters. The Ukrainian president plans to discuss both Donbas and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant with Trump. European leaders will also attend the meeting virtually.

Media reports warn that Zelenskyy and Trump are likely to face serious disagreements over key points of a peace plan during the Florida talks. Trump seeks to finalize a peace agreement as soon as possible, but many of Russia's conditions for Ukraine are unacceptable.
