The death toll from the attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to three. A woman who was severely injured in the attack has died in the hospital, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on Telegram.

"Just now, a 38-year-old woman, who sustained critical injuries in the Russian night attack, has died in the hospital. Doctors fought for more than 10 hours to save her life," Fedorov wrote.

As a result, the death toll has risen to three. Fedorov reported that the Russian attack claimed the lives of an entire family. The bodies of the daughter and father were pulled from the rubble.

According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration, 12 people were injured. Among the victims, there is also a child.

"Two women and two men have moderate injuries. An infant has a concussion. Doctors also assess its condition as moderate," Fedorov clarified.

Attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the evening of March 21, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Zaporizhzhia. According to local authorities, the occupiers fired around 12 drones at the city.

As a result of the attack, multiple hits were recorded in various locations in Zaporizhzhia, and fires broke out. Residential buildings were destroyed, and public facilities and transport were damaged.

By nightfall, rescuers completed their operations in Zaporizhzhia. A total of 63 emergency workers and 16 units of equipment were involved.

Additionally, on the night of March 22, the occupiers launched 179 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed 100 of the drones, while 63 enemy imitator drones were lost in specific locations.
