"On the night of March 22, the enemy attacked with 179 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones from different directions," the report states.
The occupiers launched the drones from three directions: Millerovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, and Chauda (Crimea).
Air defense response
The airstrike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"As of 8:30, it has been confirmed that 100 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of drones were shot down in the south, north, and center of the country."
In addition, 63 enemy decoy drones were lost in specific locations.

As a result of the Russian attack, the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions were affected.
In particular, on the night of March 22, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with 52 drones. The debris from the drones caused a fire in a high-rise building in one of the districts. Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the evening of March 21, and air defense systems were active.

Fires broke out in several locations in the city, including on the territory of a kindergarten and in a high-rise building.
