American leader Donald Trump personally urged Russian President Vladimir Putin not to respond to Ukraine's SBU attack, the American leader made this statement during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.

Trump said that during a conversation with the Russian President, the latter told him that Russia plans to "respond" to the SBU special operation against Russian airfields.

However, as Trump said, he urged Putin not to take any action and called for a cessation of fighting.

"I said, 'You shouldn't do it. You should stop it,'" the US president said.

Operation Spiderweb

On Sunday, June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a unique operation to destroy Russian strategic bombers.

SBU drones struck four military bases, and as the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, reported, more than 40 Russian strategic aviation aircraft were damaged as a result of the drone strikes.

It later became known that this amounted to damaging 34% of the strategic cruise missile carriers at Russia’s main airbases.

The SBU calculated how much the Russian Federation lost in just one day of the Ukrainian special operation.

Trump’s conversation with Putin

Yesterday, June 4, Trump had a phone conversation with Putin. Following the talks, Trump wrote that the Kremlin leader strongly warned that he "is forced to respond" to the attacks by Ukrainian drones.

At the same time, in his statement, the American leader did not even condemn Putin’s plans.
