Ending the war in Ukraine is allegedly a priority for the foreign policy of the administration of US President Donald Trump. Meanwhile, the White House is not commenting on the so-called peace plan, which the media wrote about on November 19, according to the senior political adviser to the American president, Stephen Miller.

Miller said in response to a press question that this issue remained the president’s top foreign policy priority, specifically the settlement of the war between Ukraine and Russia.

He added that the main goal of the Trump administration is to achieve peace in Europe, stop killings, and the destruction of innocent people. At the same time, Miller flatly refused to comment on the new so-called peace plan, which was reportedly developed by the United States and Russia.

This plan is allegedly aimed at ending the war in Ukraine and is considered "comfortable" for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, which automatically makes it absolutely unacceptable for Ukraine.

Another peace plan

As RBC-Ukraine reported, the US and Russia prepared a peace plan for Ukraine that envisions fulfilling the Kremlin’s maximalist demands. This implies that Ukraine would give up part of its territory and certain types of weapons and reduce the size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, Western media reported that the proposals were developed without Ukraine’s participation. The country is expected to be presented with a fait accompli—the initiative will be unveiled in Kyiv by an American delegation on November 20. Trump has reportedly approved this plan.

Ukrainian officials have already informed foreign media that Ukraine rejects the new peace plan, as it is, without substantial revision, absolutely unacceptable to Kyiv.
