Girona striker Vladyslav Vanat, who recently left Dynamo Kyiv, shared his vision of a symbolic Ukrainian national team on Instagram. At the request of the Spanish club's press service, the 23-year-old forward assembled a team of five footballers whom he considers the greatest in the history of Ukrainian football.

Four out of the five places on the list went to representatives of the capital club that raised Vanat himself.

In goal, he placed Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, with whom he worked at Dynamo. In defense, the young striker chose Illia Zabarnyi, who now plays for Paris Saint-Germain.

The only exception in this group is Shakhtar's defensive midfielder Taras Stepanenko. He is currently a player of the Turkish club Eyüpspor.

Legendary 90s attack

In the attack, Vladyslav gave preference to the duo that once made Dynamo a formidable opponent in Europe, Serhii Rebrov and Andrii Shevchenko.

In his opinion, this pair best symbolizes the success of Ukrainian football on the international stage.
