It's official! Ukrainian Vanat signs with Girona after Dynamo exit

Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine national team forward Vladyslav Vanat officially became a player of Spanish club Girona on September 1, according to Dynamo's official website.

The 22-year-old striker signed a five-year contract until the summer of 2030. Vanat moved to the Spanish club in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Vanat's transfer is one of the most expensive for Ukrainian footballers. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Girona activated the striker's release clause, which was €20 million.
At Girona, the Ukrainian forward will compete for a place in the starting lineup with team captain Cristhian Stuani, as well as Abel Ruiz, Bojan Miovski, and Dawda Camara.

Vladyslav Vanat became the third Ukrainian in Girona's squad. Since January 2023, another former Dynamo player, Viktor Tsyhankov, has been playing for the Catalan club. And in the goalkeeper position, Vladyslav Krapyvtsov has played two matches this season.
