The consultations between representatives of Russia and the United States regarding the end of the war in Ukraine have concluded. The meeting lasted more than 12 hours, according to the TASS Russian propaganda news agency.

Russian media report that the meeting of delegations from Russia and the US in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, has concluded after more than 12 hours of negotiations.

According to available information, the outcomes of the consultations will be officially published only tomorrow. It is expected that on Tuesday, March 25, the parties will issue a joint statement summarizing the negotiations.

It is worth noting that the initial plan was for the parties to discuss the "line of control" and confidence-building measures, including the issue of returning Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia.

The US delegation at this meeting was led by Andrew Peek and Michael Anton, while Russia was represented by Grigory Karasin and Sergey Beseda.

Negotiations in Saudi Arabia

We remind you that today Ukraine and the United States are scheduled to hold a new round of negotiations. Their meeting was planned following the meeting between the Americans and the Russian delegation.

According to The New York Times, the talks in Riyadh will last for two days. Specifically, yesterday there was a conversation between Ukraine and the US, and today between Washington and Moscow.

We reported earlier that the details of the Ukraine-US negotiations in Saudi Arabia have already been revealed by the President's Office.

Meanwhile, Putin has also made the first statements about the new Russia-US negotiations in Riyadh.

It is worth noting that later today, US State Department spokesperson Tammi Bruce announced that the U.S. is working to ensure that Ukraine and Russia begin a full ceasefire. According to her, the parties are closer to this than ever before.
