The night of September 3 was not a peaceful one in Ukraine. The Kyiv and Odesa regions, as well as other regions of Ukraine, including the west, came under Russian attack.

RBC-Ukraine has compiled everything about the Russian strike on Ukraine so far.

Kyiv region

On the night of September 3, the Kyiv region came under another Russian rocket-powered drone attack. Ukrainian Air Force reported the approach of Russian targets several times throughout the night.

Explosions were also heard in the Boryspil district. A man was injured in the Russian attack there and was hospitalized, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Russian strike caused damage to warehouse facilities, a store, and an administrative building.

Ternopil and region

The Ternopil region was also targeted by Russian drones during the night. Explosions from the Shahed drone attack were heard here around midnight. Ukrainian air defense systems were activated.

According to Taras Pastukh, head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, no reports of damage or casualties have been received.

"There are reports of a grass fire—however, its cause is still being investigated," the statement reads.

In the morning, around 6:26 a.m. Kyiv time, the Ternopil region was again attacked by Russian strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot them down as they approached Ternopil.

"Both aerial targets were destroyed. The danger has passed. People can return from their shelters. Strikes on the region and the city were averted thanks to the skillful work of the air defense forces," Pastukh states.

Khmelnytskyi and region

It was also a restless night in the Khmelnytskyi region. Russia attacked the Khmelnytskyi region with strike drones, and air defense forces were deployed, reports Serhii Tiurin, head of the Regional Military Administration.

"As a result of the Russian attack, a fire covering an area of 200 square meters broke out in the warehouse of one of the region's enterprises. State Emergency Service units are on the scene. The fire has already been contained," the statement reads.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine adds that one person was injured in Khmelnytskyi as a result of the Russian attack.

"One man sustained shrapnel wounds," the statement says. He is the driver of the vehicle.

There were no other casualties.

Odesa and Odesa region

Before that, Russia had been attacking Kyiv and the surrounding region all day. At least 13 people were wounded as a result of the shelling.
