US President’s Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff has received an invitation to visit Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba states at a joint briefing with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.
"The Ukrainian side invited American senior officials to visit Ukraine. Mr. Witkoff also received such an invitation. We are always happy to welcome our American friends in Ukraine," Kuleba said.
He added that "American allies do not need an additional invitation, as it is always open."

On August 29, the Ukrainian delegation met in New York with US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff. During the negotiations, he was offered to visit Ukraine in the near future.
As explained by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, they discussed advancing real diplomacy to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, as well as ensuring all agreements between Kyiv and Washington.
Earlier, Witkoff visited Russia several times, including in August this year, when he met with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This visit became the fifth since Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
In October, US President Donald Trump said that his special envoy Steve Witkoff, when traveling for talks with Putin, knew little about Russia, Putin himself, and politics in general. The meeting between them, instead of the planned 20 minutes, lasted 5 hours.
More about the role of Special Envoy Witkoff in resolving the war in Ukraine can be read in the RBC-Ukraine article.
