US may present plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine
The United States may present a plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine as early as next week. This is likely to happen at the Munich Security Conference, scheduled for February 14-16, Bloomberg reports.
Anonymous sources of the media outlet stated that the plan to end the war will be presented to allies by US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg. However, Bloomberg's sources did not clarify how detailed the discussions will be or in what format they will take place.
According to journalists, recent reports and comments from Kellogg and others have hinted at a "peace through strength" plan between Ukraine and Russia.
Bloomberg suggests that the American plan could involve freezing the conflict and leaving temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories in limbo, as well as providing Ukraine with security guarantees to prevent future Russian attacks.
