Trump: US having 'very constructive' talks with Ukraine and Russia on war

The United States is conducting constructive negotiations on a full-scale war with Ukraine and Russia, says US President Donald Trump at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“We're having very good talks, very constructive talks on Ukraine. And we're talking to the Russians, we're talking to Ukrainian leadership,” Trump said.
The head of the White House expressed hope that agreements would be reached as soon as possible.
Possible negotiations between Ukraine and Russia
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine needs security guarantees before returning to the negotiating table, and that the United States is capable of forcing Vladimir Putin to peace.
After his inauguration, Trump threatened Russia with additional tariffs and sanctions if the Kremlin did not agree to a ceasefire agreement soon.
According to Russian opposition political analyst Abbas Gallyamov, the United States has enough leverage against Russia to force it into a dialogue.
