Unidentified drones spotted over military base in France, media reports

Last weekend, unidentified drones were spotted flying over the Mourmelon-le-Grand military base in the Marne department, in northeastern France, RFI reports.
According to the French Ministry of Defense, what was recorded over the air base on the night of September 22 were "small devices," not military-operated drones.
The ministry described the incident as "exceptional."
In line with drone flight protocols, security measures were reinforced at Mourmelon-le-Grand, and a report was filed with the local gendarmerie.
The French Ministry of Defense also noted that, for now, there are no grounds to suggest any foreign interference linked to the launch of the unmanned devices.
Russia violates NATO airspace
On September 25, unidentified drones were once again detected over Denmark, including near military facilities.
This was the second such incident within a week. Due to the drones, Aalborg Airport in the north of the country temporarily suspended operations.
Earlier, late on September 22, mysterious UAVs disrupted the operations of Copenhagen and Oslo airports for several hours.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen did not rule out possible Russian involvement in the appearance of drones over Copenhagen.
Also, on Wednesday, September 24, US fighter jets intercepted Russian Tu-95 and Su-35 aircraft flying near Alaska.
That same day, Russia carried out another provocation in the Baltic Sea, as a Russian fighter jet flew extremely close over a German Navy frigate.
Last week, three Russian MiG-31 fighters violated Estonian airspace, flying near Tallinn.
In addition, on September 10, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine, during which about 20 UAVs entered Polish territory. In response, Poland scrambled its air force and, for the first time, shot down hostile objects over its territory.
