The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has approved and codified the domestically produced "Pernach" remote-controlled combat module for use within the Defense Forces, the Ministry's press service reported.

The "Pernach" module is equipped with a turret-mounted 7.62 mm machine gun and a control system that includes a battery and camera.

The module is operated from a secure location. Operators use a control console and FPV goggles, which display live footage from the video camera.

"Pernach" module

"Pernach" is an advanced Ukrainian-made remote-controlled combat module designed for mounting on various types of armored vehicles and stationary platforms, providing additional firepower capabilities. Its high modularity allows for configuration adjustments to fit a wide range of missions and carrier types, meaning the module can be equipped with various weaponry, targeting systems, and components according to specific requirements.

The module can be outfitted with various armaments, including automatic grenade launchers, anti-tank missile systems, machine guns, and other firearms. Such versatility makes it effective against both ground and aerial targets.

Equipped with advanced targeting systems, "Pernach" ensures high-precision strikes, day or night, under weather conditions, enabling accurate targeting over considerable distances.

Ukrainian-made long-range weaponry

Ukrainian forces have already conducted dozens of strikes on Russian targets using domestically produced drones. According to Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, Ukrainian drones are capable of striking military targets in Russia up to 1,800 km away.

In August, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the first successful deployment of a domestically developed missile drone, "Palianytsia." He also mentioned that Ukraine is advancing in the development of its ballistic missiles. To find out more about secret Ukrainian weapons developments in our exclusive material.
