Ukrainian Navy confirms liquidation of Conroe Trader ferry in Kavkaz port
The Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk has confirmed the liquidation of the Russian ferry Conro Trader, which was located in the port of Kavkaz in Krasnodar Territory.
He notes that the ferry was one of the important chains of Russian military logistics to supply the occupation forces.
Pletenchuk says that the ferry was used to transport fuel and lubricants. The Ukrainian Navy spokesperson notes that the ferry was also used to transport weapons for the Russian army.
At the same time, Pletenchuk does not specify what the Ukrainian military used to hit the Conro Trader.
"This is a completely legitimate target and, accordingly, this (destruction of the ferry - ed.) should reduce the potential of Russia's capabilities in those locations where they are actively fighting," he says.
