The Russian port of Kavkaz in the Kuban may have been hit. Locals report that smoke can be seen over the port, according to Crimean wind.
Crimean Telegram channels write that the smoke on the Taman Peninsula is rising from the area of the Kavkaz port.
Moreover, according to the agency, the alarm has been activated in military units in Sevastopol, and the Kerch Bridge has been closed.
This is not the first strike at this port.
Russian media refer to the statement of the operational headquarters and claim that the attack in the port of Kavkaz was allegedly carried out by a railway ferry loaded with fuel.
At the same time, Crimean Telegram channels report that the attack in the port of Kavkaz was on the ferry Akvatreider, which was loaded with fuel.
In late May this year, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked an oil terminal near the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia.
A strike group of the Ukrainian Navy's forces and assets struck a ferry crossing and the port's oil terminal.
The port was also attacked last month. Then, in the Krasnodar Krai, drones attacked a ferry ship in the port of Kavkaz.
The Ukraine's General Staff noted that the Russian occupiers used this ferry to transport railway wagons, vehicles, and containers for military purposes.
