Ukrainian military receives first batch of Peklo drone missiles
Ukraine’s Defense Forces have received the first batch of Peklo drone missiles. They were handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to the president’s Telegram channel.
“Peklo drone missile. Our Ukrainian weapon, which has already proven itself in combat. Today, we handed over the first batch to our Defense Forces. The next task is to scale up production and deployment,” Zelenskyy said.
It is known that the Peklo drone missiles have already been successfully used in five combat operations.
What is known about the Peklo drone missile
This drone missile has a strike range of 700 kilometers and a speed of 700 kilometers per hour. Other specifications of the advanced weapon have not been disclosed.

Drone production in Ukraine
Ukraine has established domestic production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), achieving a tenfold increase in drone production in 2024 compared to 2023.
According to the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine exceeded its production plan for drones this year, introducing over 900 new types of weapons and military equipment into service.
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated that in 2025, Ukraine plans to further expand its weapons production, focusing on drones and long-range weapons, including ballistic missiles.
