Counteroffensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South
This summer, Ukrainian soldiers have intensified their offensive actions in the southern regions of Ukraine, specifically in the Melitopol and Berdyansk sectors in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. During this time, they have managed to liberate over 10 populated areas.
It is noteworthy that the progress of the Defensive Forces is being hindered by enemy minefields and a robust defensive line established by the occupiers.
As reported yesterday, on August 13, the commander of the Tavriya troop grouping, Tarnavskyi, stated that in the Tavriisk direction, 15 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed over the past day, and the enemy's losses in terms of killed, wounded, and captured personnel amounted to 269 individuals.
