Ukrainian interceptor drones shoot down Russian UAVs - Ukrainian air force releases video

Ukrainian troops are already using interceptor drones to take down Russian UAVs. The defense forces are betting big on them, according to video reports from the positions of the Molfar crew of the 208th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Air Force has released a video from the positions of the Molfar crew, who are hunting for enemy drones in the Kherson-Mykolaiv direction.
The group's commander, Anton, said they operate around the clock.
"We have two systems of interceptors in service — one is high-speed, mostly used for fast-moving targets, the Interceptor system, and the other is Taras-P, which targets slower UAVs and reconnaissance drones. Both are Ukrainian, made in Ukraine from Ukrainian components," he emphasized.
According to him, Russian forces have already begun using tricks to bypass the interceptors.
For his part, Molfar pilot Oleksandr said the crew has successfully neutralized eight aerial targets so far.
"The targets are quite different - ZALA, Supercam, modified Supercams, and Orlans. Some days, they keep flying in non-stop, trying to enter our territory. And you are monitoring the situation 24 hours a day with your tablets and laptops, flying, shooting them down or at least pushing them back from our territory," he said.
Interceptor drones
On May 18, the Unmanned Systems Forces reported that for the first time in history, soldiers destroyed 100 enemy drones using interceptor drones.
At the same time, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, recently ordered the improvement of the air defense, including interceptor drones.
The general gave this order against the backdrop of massive drone attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
