The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of two small amphibious ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian fighters made public the moments of hitting enemy targets.

Details of the special operation

As the scouts confirmed, it is about the boats of the 11770 project (of the Serna class).

According to the Main Directorate of Intelligence, the ships were carrying a crew and loaded armored vehicles, in particular APC-82.

Russia actively used Serna class small amphibious boats during the occupation of Zmiinyi Island to transfer military equipment and landing craft.

In addition, the Russians placed Tor-m2 anti-aircraft missile complexes on board the boats for mobile cover of their group on the island and in the Black Sea.

What is known about these boats

The small amphibious ship of the Serna class has high speed and can accommodate up to 45 tons of cargo and 92 armed landing personnel.

Occupiers use these boats to disembark advanced groups of marines or evacuate. And in the conditions of the Russians' actual lack of naval air defense equipment after a series of attacks by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, such boats with air defense systems on board served as cover for the invaders' ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation during raids.

However, Ukrainian intelligence officers noted that this idea of the Russians has now been destroyed.

Night explosions in Crimea on November 10

On the night of November 10, explosions rang out in several populated areas of Crimea.

Local Telegram channels reported that several hits were recorded in the village of Chornomorske. Like, there was an attack on the barracks.

It was also loud in occupied Feodosia. The network assumed that the drones hit the oil depot. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that Russian troops destroyed two drones over Crimea that night.

However, later in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, the representative of Ukrainian intelligence Andrii Yusov said that two amphibious boats of the 11770 project were hit in the village of Chornomorske, and the loss of Russian personnel is being clarified.
