Ukrainian Foreign Minister talks with new UK Foreign Secretary: Ironclad support for Ukraine will continue
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held talks with the new British Foreign Secretary David Lammy. They discussed the continuation of assistance to Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
According to Kuleba, he congratulated Lemmy on taking up the post of British Foreign Secretary.
"I am grateful to my counterpart for reaffirming the UK’s ironclad support for Ukraine in all areas," added the Minister.
The officials discussed further steps in bilateral relations, as well as the upcoming NATO summit in Washington.
Kuleba said that Lemmy accepted his invitation to visit Ukraine.
New composition of the British government
Today, July 5, Keir Starmer became the new Prime Minister. This happened after Labor won the parliamentary elections.
Starmer then announced the composition of the new British government. David Lammy, who had already visited Kyiv and publicly supported Ukraine, became the new Foreign Secretary.
